Age Regression Hypnosis on Long Island
On Long Island, Kelly Tallaksen of Hearts in Harmony Hypnosis, with offices in Huntington and Levittown, lists training in age regression on her website, which we read in October 2026, though the site does not describe age regression as a separate session; ask her directly. JD Hypnosis, with offices in Woodbury, Farmingdale and Babylon, offers past life exploration, a different service. For age regression itself, Self Empowered Minds on Manhattan’s Upper East Side describes its sessions in detail and can arrange them online. Whatever you choose, hypnosis does not make memory more reliable: in 1985 the American Medical Association’s Council on Scientific Affairs found that recollections obtained during hypnosis “can involve confabulations and pseudomemories” and “appear to be less reliable than nonhypnotic recall” (JAMA, 1985).
Safety first
Treat images and feelings that come up as material for reflection, not as a record of what happened, and do not use a session to decide whether someone harmed you. If you are living with trauma symptoms, depression or an anxiety disorder, start with a licensed clinician; you can check a New York license on the state’s verification search. The Royal College of Psychiatrists cautions that hypnotherapy “might not be suitable for people experiencing psychosis” (RCPsych). In a crisis, call or text the 988 Lifeline at 988; in an emergency, call 911.
Hearts in Harmony Hypnosis (Kelly Tallaksen)
Hearts in Harmony Hypnosis is the practice of Kelly Tallaksen, a board-certified hypnotist and instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists and president of its Long Island chapter. Her site lists offices in Huntington and Levittown, sessions in person and on Zoom, and training in age regression, the 5-PATH method and past life and between-lives work; she specializes in what she calls metaphysical hypnosis. Ask whether a session would focus on your own earlier life or on past-life material, and how she handles memory-like images. Call (516) 457-5244.
Self Empowered Minds (Manhattan and online)
Saba Hocek’s age regression page, selfempoweredminds.com/age-regression-hypnosis/, describes the work as reflection on earlier periods of life and says it “is not a method of recovering verified memories or investigating whether someone harmed you.” Sessions are at 420 East 81st Street, Suite 1, in Manhattan, and online sessions can be arranged. Clients start with the 90-minute Initial Hypnosis Session at $343; the page does not give a separate age regression price. Call (917) 658-1660.
JD Hypnosis: past life exploration on Long Island
JD Hypnosis lists offices at 7600 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury, 81 Lawrence Street in Farmingdale and 157 Deer Park Avenue in Babylon, and describes itself as a certified past life exploration hypnotist. Past life work explores scenes framed as earlier lives; what you experience is imagery to interpret, not historical evidence. The practice also offers video sessions and a free consultation. Call (516) 376-5177.
Long Island regression questions
Are there other hypnotists on Long Island?
Yes, for goals other than regression; the Long Island hypnotist page covers two practices. The Manhattan age regression page explains the memory research in more detail.
Details here come from each practice’s own website as of October 2026 and may change; confirm them before booking. A listing here is not a referral, and age regression does not replace medical or psychological care.
