Best Reiki in Albany, New York: Top 3 Practitioners

This page lists two Albany Reiki providers who give their contact details on their own websites, which we read in October 2026: Pathways to Healing, where Elise Manzo combines sound healing and Reiki for clients across Albany, Latham, Schenectady, Troy and Saratoga County, and Blessings Wellness Center, a spa offering Reiki at 251 New Karner Road in Albany. “Top 3” in the title is a category name; we list only providers we could confirm at the source, and Reiki has not been shown to treat any health condition. The order is not a ranking.

What sound healing and Reiki can and cannot do

Both are practices people use for relaxation. Pathways to Healing’s site lists chronic illness, pain, anxiety and trauma among what its sound therapy works with; treat that as the practice’s description. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health states that “Reiki hasn’t been clearly shown to be effective for any health-related purpose” and that there is no scientific evidence for the energy field Reiki is thought to involve (NCCIH). For trauma, anxiety or grief that disrupts daily life, see a licensed clinician; in a crisis, call or text the 988 Lifeline at 988.

If a session includes massage or body treatments that involve massage, New York requires a licensed massage therapist (Education Law Article 155); ask before you book.

Reiki in the Capital Region: questions

Is Reiki available at Capital Region hospitals?

Ask the hospital’s patient services or integrative health department; any program is for comfort, not a treatment for illness.

Is there hypnosis in Albany?

See the Albany hypnotist page and, for Saratoga County, the Saratoga Springs hypnotist page.

Details here come from each provider’s own website as of October 2026 and may change; confirm them before booking. A listing here is not a referral, and Reiki does not replace medical care.
