Some Reiki websites describe it as healing for any illness. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health states that “Reiki hasn’t been clearly shown to be effective for any health-related purpose” (NCCIH), so keep your medical care in place and tell your doctor about any complementary therapy. For anxiety or depression, see a licensed clinician; in a crisis, call or text the 988 Lifeline at 988.
