Schenectady Hypnotist Services

We did not find a hypnotist with a Schenectady office on a practice website we could open in October 2026. Two Capital Region practices are the practical options: Greater Life Health in Malta, whose site lists Schenectady among the places within an easy drive and offers in-person or online sessions, and HypnosisWorksWell, with offices in Albany, Clifton Park and Delmar and a free consultation assessment by phone. The order below is not a ranking.

What to know first

Hypnosis is not among the professions licensed by New York’s Office of the Professions (professions index). For a diagnosed anxiety disorder, depression or trauma, see a licensed clinician; the state’s verification search confirms a New York license. In a crisis, call or text the 988 Lifeline at 988, or call 911. On evidence, the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health reports support for gut-directed hypnotherapy in irritable bowel syndrome and growing evidence for some painful conditions, and describes studies on quitting smoking as conflicting (NCCIH).

More Capital Region options

Is there more in the Capital Region?

The Albany hypnotist page adds an online hypnotist, and the Saratoga Springs hypnotist page covers Saratoga County.

Details here come from each practice’s own website as of October 2026 and may change; confirm them before booking. A listing here is not a referral, and hypnosis does not replace medical or psychological care.
